Siete desiderose/i di intraprendere una carriera tecnologica e non sapete da dove cominciare? Vi incuriosisce la Data Science? Muovere i primi passi in questo settore è difficile, ma non dovete farlo da sole/i. Partecipando al nostro workshop per principianti inizierete a conoscere la Data Science in Python, anche se non avete ancora scritto una sola riga di codice!

I materiali di riferimento sono in italiano e inglese

Invitiamo coloro che appartengono a gruppi sottorappresentati a unirsi a noi per un Humble Data workshop divertente e di supporto che vi darà la fiducia necessaria per iniziare a lavorare in questo settore entusiasmante. Vi aspettano numerosi esercizi e interventi stimolanti supportati/i da chi è stata/o al vostro posto. Verranno illustrate le basi della programmazione in Python, oltre a librerie e strumenti utili come Jupyter Notebook, Pandas e Matplotlib.

In questo workshop pratico lavorerete su una serie di materiali adatti ai principianti al vostro ritmo. Lavorerete in piccoli gruppi, ciascuno con un tutor assegnato, che sarà a disposizione per aiutarvi con qualsiasi domanda o in caso di blocco. Tutto ciò che dovrete portare è un computer portatile in grado di connettersi a internet e la voglia di imparare!

Are you eager to embark on a tech career but unsure where to start? Are you curious about data science? Join our workshop for complete beginners and get started in Python and Data Science - even if you’ve never written a single line of code!

The materials and in Italian and English (and the mentors too!)

Taking the first steps in this field can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. We invite those from underrepresented groups to apply to join us for a fun, supportive Humble Data workshop that will give you the confidence to get started in this exciting area. You can expect plenty of exercises, as well as inspiring talks from those who were once in your shoes. You’ll cover the basics of programming in Python, as well as useful libraries and tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and Matplotlib.

In this hands-on workshop you’ll work through a series of beginner-friendly materials at your own pace. You’ll work within small groups, each with an assigned mentor, who will be there to help you with any questions or whenever you get stuck. All you’ll need to bring is a laptop that can connect to the internet and a willingness to learn!
